What is V6 in GhoulApp?

V6 in GhoulApp is the public alpha playtest of the next edition of Vampire: The Masquerade. It's an early test of the rules so they aren't final and can still change. That's why V6 carries an Alpha tag in the creator and its sheets show V6 Alpha.

V6 plays differently from V5 and V20. Characters are built from lifepaths, the players make nearly every roll and Health and blood are combined into Vitae.

The dice work differently too. The difficulty takes dice out of your pool before you roll. One die of 8 or more succeeds and each one after it makes the result better. A 10 counts toward Quickening and isn't a critical. A failed roll that shows a 1 is a painful failure.

What you can do with V6

• Make a character in the creator. Pick 6th Edition on the Era step.
• Use Fast Build to make a whole V6 character at once.
• Play from the sheet and roll with V6 dice.

What V6 doesn't have yet

• No V6 chronicle. A V6 sheet can only join a Custom chronicle. See The four editions and Custom.
• No random character. The random character covers V5, V20 and Dark Ages.
• English only. The V6 creator screens and the V6 guide are in English in every language.
