Can I use the old creator?

Yes. The old creator is still there. Nothing in the app links to it, but it opens if you add ?creator=legacy to the end of the creator's address:

ghoulapp.com/create?creator=legacy
ghoulapp.com/v20/create?creator=legacy to start in 20th Anniversary (use v5, dav20 or v6 for the other editions)

The old creator stays open while you work in it, even if you switch edition. Once you leave the creator a plain Create opens the new one again. Add the ending again each time you want the old one.

Both creators save the same characters and share the same drafts. A draft you started in one can be finished in the other.

Chronicles always use the new creator. A character started from a chronicle's Characters page opens in the new one and your storyteller's table rules only work there. There's no setting that switches creators either. The address above is the only way in.
