Turn chronicle sections on or off

Open Settings, go to the Features tab and find the Features block. Each section has a switch that reads Enabled or Hidden and a line saying what the section is for. A change saves the moment you press it. The storyteller and co-storytellers can change all of them. A moderator allowed to edit the chronicle can change them too, except XP Requests, which they don't see.

These sections have a switch: Story, NPCs, Wiki, XP Requests, Planning, Handbook, Calendar, Timeline, Map, Relationships, Hierarchy, Battles, Quick Ref and Help. Overview, Members, Characters and Settings are always there. Coteries, Boons, Notes, Table Rules, Lines and Veils, Prep and the Harpy Ledger have no switch either.

A hidden section disappears from the menu for everyone at the table, the storytellers included. Links and bookmarks to it lead back to the Overview. Visitors to a public chronicle don't see it either. Nothing inside is deleted, so when you turn it back on everything is where you left it.

A few switches reach further than their own section. Calendar also leaves the header's Table menu. With Map hidden the Map appearance choice leaves the Appearance tab until you turn the map back on. With Help hidden nobody at the table can replay the tutorial.

XP Requests does the most. Turning it off also sets the chronicle to Player controlled, because the other ways of managing sheets need the XP page. The other modes stay greyed out until XP is back. Turning XP back on doesn't change the mode back, so pick it again under Management. See How a chronicle manages sheets.

Battles is a Dark Ages section. In a Dark Ages chronicle it's an ordinary switch: the Full Campaign preset turns it on and the other presets leave it off. In a Custom chronicle it starts off and only a storyteller can turn it on. In V5 and V20 the row stays locked with "Dark Ages and custom chronicles only." A V6 character plays in a Custom chronicle, so the Custom rule is the one that applies to a V6 table.

The preset you picked when you made the chronicle only set the first values. You can change any of them here at any time.
